Taganka Children’s Fund extends heartfelt thanks to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicls for lending us a helpful hand in the transportation of New Year presents for children from needy families. Thanks to a Volkswagen vehicle more than 385 families have received sweet presents and toys that have kindly been provided by the “Detskiy Mir” Charitable Foundation under the “Help Together” Project. We also extend special thanks to Natalia Koctenok for arranging this much-needed assistance and thereby paving way for joy and happiness ahead of New Year’s.

We extend heartfelt thanks to:
Mr. John Roche - our much-beloved Santa - for being with us at our yearly Christmas party for children and creating the atmosphere of warmth and spirituality;
The Anglo-American School for recipient-oriented presents that were distributed among 385 children from needy families;
“Salym Petroleum” and Olga Kozlova for leading an office campaign to raise funds for the needy families that depend on assistance provided by Taganka Children’s Fund;
AECOM Ltd. for organizing an effective campaign to raise funds for members of the Rostochek Social Rehabilitation Group for young people with disabilities through selling handmade soap, painted bags, drawings, bead necklaces and other items which these young people make with their own hands, in the office;

The municipal council of the Taganskiy District which have donated tickets to New Year shows;
The Salvation Army for providing presents for 30 children;

August 24, 2013 - Taganka Children’s Fund took part in a government-sponsored citywide campaign that encouraged families and childcare communities to contribute and share in supplying the children in their care with everything necessary for school.
The “Ready for School” Project at Taganka Park brought together the Fund’s teachers and senior children in a large number of master classes on folklore, beadweaving, and English for pre-schoolers. The master class given by the Inclusive Theatre “Taganka Shed” ked by Alexei Vasyukov became the highlight of the program.

The 8th bowling
tournament on April 17th 2013 made quite a stir. The Bi-BaBo Club is the
main sponsor of the project. The teams showed their best!

On June 4, 2013 the “Taganka Shed” Inclusive Theatre celebrated the closing of the season. The theater will again fling open its doors in the new season that starts in September!

July 2013 - a project for socially disadvantaged families presented by Taganka Children’s Fund won a subsidy of the Public Relations Committee in a competition that featured socially important projects submitted by social organizations from all over Moscow. The “Taganka Family Center” Project is designed to secure much-needed assistance for troubled/low-income families, families with many children, or socially disadvantaged families.

The art studio – welcomes art lovers between 5 and 18.
The handicrafts and souvenirs studio – offers embroidery, beading, modeling, paining on wood and other workshops for children between 5 and 18.
The choral studio – comprises two groups for children ( 5-6 year-olds, and for children between 6 and 8), the vocal group (children between 7 and 10), and the Russian Folk and Cossack Song Ensemble unites children under 18.

Inclusive theatre project “Taganka Shed” invites to its open doors event “Theatre for all” on Saturday, March 2nd at 4pm at Marksistsky pereulok 3 (Taganka children’s fund).
Children of any ages will be able to try theatre skills and participate in artistic master-classes.
